Our diverse staff includes seasoned and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Clergy and Registered Marriage and Family Interns as well as consultations with other mental health providers. Our therapists are available for individual, couples, family or group counseling. We are also available to provide speaking engagements, workshops and retreats.

Mary Cipriani-Price, LMFT, Director
Mary is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Clinical Supervisor and is currently an Associate Professor at Bethel University in the department of Marital and Family Therapy; she has also taught as an adjunct professor at SDSU and National University. Mary has been in the counseling field for 27 years focusing on couples counseling, individuals, families, sexual difficulties, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, adults molested as children, grief and loss, same sex attraction and trauma, to name a few.
Mary received her B.A. from Eastern University, M.S. in Counseling and Human Relations at Villanova University and completed an advanced training doctoral level certificate in Marriage, Family and Sex Therapy with the Marriage Council at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. She has also trained in Couples Therapy from the Couples Institute, Couples Counseling with John Gottman, EMDR, Domestic Violence, Strategic Therapy with Cloe Maddanes and Emotionally Focused Therapy with Susan Johnson. She is currently a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Sheila A. London, LMFT
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Sheila has training and experiential knowledge in working with couples, adolescents, individuals, and families in the following areas: increasing intimacy in couples' relationships, marital distress, grief and loss, rebuilding after divorce, anxiety, depression, trauma, same sex attraction, parenting and spiritual issues.
Sheila received her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel University. She has had training in couple's therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, extensive training in grief and loss, EMDR and training under Andrea Sigler in same sex attraction issues and emotional dependency in women. Sheila is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and The American Association of Christian Counselors.

Juan-Daniel Espitia, M.Div.,LCSW,Bilingual A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Juan-Daniel is currently also a Pastor at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church. Juan received his M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and his MSW from Rutgers University.

Paula K. Bunn, M.A., Clinical Intern
A Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Paula’s extensive clinical experience at Aurora Behavioral Health Care, San Diego’s largest psychiatric hospital, has included individual, couples and family therapy; process, cognitive and psycho-educational groups; and case management/discharge planning.
In private practice settings, Paula has worked with adults and adolescents on a variety of individual and family issues, including depression and anxiety, stress management, divorce recovery, healing from marital infidelity, and healing from childhood sexual abuse.
Paula received her B.S. from the University of Illinois, M.S. in School Counseling from Butler University, and M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel Seminary San Diego. She has also had additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and treating Borderline Personality Disorder, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy. Paula is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Roy Rawers, M.A., Clinical Intern A Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with Mountain Counseling, Roy has training and experiential knowledge in working with couples, adolescents, individuals, and families. Roy devotes much of his time helping men achieve personal and relational growth. Including: learning how to develop intimacy in their relationships, sexual addictions, domestic violence, anger, anxiety and depression. Roy is dedicated to helping men transform themselves so that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
Roy received his M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel University. Before entering the field of psychotherapy, Roy has compiled over 20 years of real world experience as a corporate executive, small business owner and church lay leader. He continually undergoes training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, has EMDR training, and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Donna Scott, LMFT A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an Assistant Professor at Southern California Seminary in the Master's of Arts Counseling Psychology Program, Donna has over 15 years of experience providing individual, couples, family and play therapy in a variety of settings. Donna's focus is to help clients to heal their marriages by empowering, educating, enlightening and equipping them. Through counseling she can facilitate improved communication, increase connection and understanding.
Donna earned a BA in Psychology from Biola University and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family therapy from United States International University. She has also trained with many leaders of the field including The Couples Institute and now Emotionally Focused Therapy. Donna is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Christian Association for Psychological Studies.

Nicole Rameson, M.A., Clinical Intern,Bilingual A Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Nicole's experience includes working with individuals, adolescents, couples and families, premarital counseling, depression and anxiety disorders, chemical dependency, problem gambling, abusive relationships and post traumatic stress.
In addition to working several years in private practice, Nicole worked in the public education system as a middle school teacher. She presently works at Alvarado Parkway Institute Outpatient Services conducting family groups, couples' sessions and cognitive therapy groups for clients with chemical dependency issues and/or mood disorders. She is a trained Gambling Counselor and has worked with the Center for Pathological Gambling treating compulsive gamblers and their families. Nicole also attends ongoing training and supervision in Emotionally Focused Therapy and completed the domestic Violence Victim Advocate Training with the California Office of Criminal Justice. Nicole was graduated from National University in Counseling Psychology and earned her B.A. from UCSD.

Rebecca Lee, M.A., Clinical Intern, Bilingual A Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Rebecca has trained in grief and loss, anxiety, depression, pre-marital and marital counseling, and rebuilding after divorce. Rebecca has worked extensively with adolescents and adults who seek to decrease and manage stress. A strong focus is also assisting individuals who suffer from past trauma. Rebecca is experienced and loves assisting couples with pre-marital counseling.
Rebecca earned her M.A. from Bethel University San Diego in Marital and Family Therapy and a B.A. in Psychology. She has specialized training in EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Rebecca is conversational in Cantonese and Vietnamese.

Jason Farmer, M.A., Clinical Intern A Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, Jason has provided individual, couple, group and family counseling. He has experience working with issues of child abuse, domestic violence, emotional trauma, drug and alcohol addiction, and severe mental illness. In addition he has assisted individuals with issues related to divorce, marital and family conflict, fears, anxiety, depression and under-achievement.
Jason earned an M.A. from Bethel University San Diego in Marriage and Family Therapy and a B.A. from Lee University. He is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and has specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Disaster Training from Mental Health Systems.
