I consider the therapy room to be a sacred space where clients can ground themselves in who they are, what they want and where they are going. I feel my role as therapist is that of a collaborator, not a captain. You are the expert when it comes to your life. I am highly trained in the process of self-discovery and healing, but only you can tell your story. I am passionate about providing a therapy experience that honors your story and your values, that integrates the diverse aspects of who you are and that accepts you where you are. I believe we all possess the resources to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. Therapy is a powerful tool for uncovering those resources.
My belief in the therapeutic process is rooted in my own personal story. I love working with individuals and couples as they face the challenges and pain they may have been running from for years. My primary areas of specialization include couples in crisis, compulsive behavior (including disordered eating and sexual compulstion) and the treatment of trauma.
