Ingvild Denison, M.A., IMF82596
Ingvild is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, and her personal mission is to pursue wholeness in marriages, families and individuals through restoring connection within our most essential relationships. The fact that our human need for emotional connection shapes our neural make-up and structures our emotional life draws her to focus her efforts towards change on an emotional level in order to achieve lasting transformation. As a native Norwegian she brings a unique perspective on cultural issues. Ingvild has served alongside her husband as pastors at Journey Community Church in La Mesa for the past 15 years. Her experience includes substitute teaching over the last 9 years at elementary schools throughout San Diego as well as abroad. She completed her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University in 2014. Ingvild is currently a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
