As a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, William is committed to helping you lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life through co-creating an environment you feel is safe, secure and productive. William has a Master’s degree in counseling with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University. He has extensive clinical experience working with couples, individuals and families in a variety of settings. The physical and mental challenges experienced during his time as a Division-1, All-American Athlete has equipped him to understand the resiliency needed to overcome much of life's challenges. William has a passion for working with young men particularly those dealing with emerging adult issues such as identity exploration and the desire to be self-sufficient. Additionally, he has experience working with adoptive families identifying and healing attachment traumas. He offers both groups and individual sessions to assist those that struggle with balance and performance anxiety while also seeking direction in their life.
